June 27 Hall "Crystal" Yalta Intourist hotel started the Main Event of the fifth phase of the popular series Betfair Poker Live! In the competition for the No Limit Texas Hold'em with the contribution of 820 dollars was attended by 260 players from Austria, Bulgaria, Ukraine, United Kingdom, France, Poland, Finland, Spain, USA and Russia. Thus was formed a record for the tournament prize fund $ 206,804. The competition is set 36 prizes (1st - $ 45,000).

It seems that these impressive figures involuntarily effect on participants, who, especially at first, acted very cautiously - in stark contrast to the tournament in Kiev, and Tallinn. Frankly, this scenario seems unlikely, because the potential victim was none other than Alex Kovalchuk, winner of the main phase of the tournament in Kiev. Nevertheless, Sergei Kerzhakov at the right time were able to deal a decisive blow and deprive Alexei remnants of its stack. For his achievement Sergei receive a prize package for the next major tournament will be held in one of the countries of Eastern Europe.
